Long Built Homes 7-Steps to Customer Satisfaction

Our Seven-Step program is designed to ensure your satisfaction before, during and after your home is built.

Step 1. - CHOOSE YOUR HOMESITE AND HOME DESIGN. Select your homesite and choose the home that best fits your needs.

Step 2. - SECURE YOUR DECISION. Reserve your homesite for fourteen days by writing a nominal escrow check.

Step 3. - PERSONALIZE YOUR HOME. Select the finishes that best express your style. Soon after, you will complete a Purchase and Sales Agreement with your Sales Consultant.

Step 4. - OBTAIN MORTGAGE FINANCING. You will then make a Loan Application within five days. Once your loan is approved we will then start construction on your new home.

Step 5. - CUSTOMER INVOLVMENTS. Pre-Construction Meeting: We believe you should be involved before we drive a single nail. So, you and your Project Superintendent will go over the plans, visit the homesite, and review everything from your home's location to all the selections made when you personalized your home with your Sales Consultant. Pre-Drywall Meeting: You and your Project Superintendent will walk through the home while it is at frame-stage with the rough electrical, plumbing, and HVAC in place. This will be your opportunity to make certain that everything is in the proper place, based upon your Pre-Construction Meeting. Customer Orientation: About a week before your closing, you and our Warranty Manager will do a walk-through on your home, to demonstrate how things work. This meeting also gives us time to note any last minute items that require attention prior to your move. Final Walk: A few days before your closing your Sales Consultant will meet you at your soon to be home. For your acceptance, we will ask you to sign off in satisfaction. Long Built Homes will not close with any items left outstanding except seasonal and back ordered items.

Step 6. - THE CLOSING: At this time your bank's attorney finalizes the paperwork necessary for closing, allowing you to pick up the keys to your home and begin an exciting new life!

Step 7. - AFTER MOVE-IN. Survey: Within 30 days of your closing, Long Built Homes will mail you a survey. You will be able to grade each step of your experience. Long Built Homes strives for all 5's. 60 Day Service Order: The first 60 days in a newly constructed home will usually turn up small items that need to be addressed. After you have lived in your new home for 60 days, we would like you to fill out your 60 day service order noting any items that need to be addressed. 11 Month Service Order: We want to make sure that everything is going according to plan and to make any repairs that might be necessary. We would like you to fill out your 11 month service order noting any items that need to be addressed.
